flower paintings

Trying my hand at watercolour by painting flowering plants on the patio. The petunia (top left) is badly coloured – it was a rushed job and it shows. The purple is much too vivid and the variegations in the petals were clumsily rendered (I should have used a finer brush). The echeveria (top right) is much better. I'm still really pleased with the results.
