I've just read the very sad news that French comic book artist Jean Giraud aka Moebius has died after a long battle with cancer. Such a shame. He was a massive influence on me and will be sorely missed.
I'm fortunate enough to have a couple of signed books of his and the bookplate (pictured above) is from a French edition of The Man From The Ciguri, the follow-up to his classic The Airtight Garage. A lovely piece of work in three colours; I stole this colour scheme so many times!
