The portrait at the top is an okay drawing but it's not such a good likeness, the one at the bottom is a GREAT likeness but is a little over-hatched, and the less said about the image in the middle the better.

snails

Yes, I know they're not slugs, but 'snaily' bastards doesn't have quite the same ring to it. I don't care anyway. Both snails and slugs have been merrily chomping away on my hostas. THE BASTARDS.
